Dear Friend,

On your way- 2 hours from Sudan stands the town of Gulu. over 20 years of war has ravaged life and property of the people in this area but thank God 5 years ago the war ended; people are busy now repairing their lives. The town wakes up early and goes to sleep late.

Bad political times have drawn people nearer to God, many churches have sprung up in the area; our purpose in this trip was to continue equipping leaders from the different village churches on how they can use the Word of God in a away that can benefit their people.

We have worked with this group before but this time, we meant to teach through the book of 1st Timothy first to encourage them in their ministries and also to model how they  can prepare studies from an entire book of the Bible using the inductive Bible Study tool given to them in earlier seminars.

Pastors have received this conference with joy, we would start sessions from 9am up to 6pm with breaks in between. Many pastors have gone back with a commitment to start doing book by book  studies. A couple of  the pastors are already teaching through 2 timothy and others are in the book of Acts in their churches,this conference was just a big encouragement for them to continue.

African Pastors receive the training with much joy, Please pray today that God will provide the personnel and funding needed to continue the current work for even greater reach.

Burundi Trip Round Up

Dear friends,

Our trip to Burundi was thrilling!

- 123 people received Christ Jesus during the 2 days gospel rally

- 230 leaders attended our leadership conferences

- For the 1^st time ever, pastors attending conference decided to take an offering amounting $40 for us to use in organizing our next conference in another nation
Thank you for praying for the trip.
