Sudan Seminar Report

Pastors during an assignment in our training

A cook serves food during our lunch break.
These children have gathered around our seminar place and are excited
they ask me to take their picture

This is a school in the town where we were. Just like with churches,
many schools operate under trees
Most kids do not have books and write on the ground
either using their fingers or with sticks
A group of pupils look at pictures in the text book while others play
These kids spend most of their day playing, and running around the compound
before they are dispersed by the only teacher at the school.
Water is a big issue in the Sudan, people come from very far to fetch from a common source.
they form long lines but once its time to lock it, the guard would lock and
those who did not fetchhave to wait many hours until they open it again
We have a lunch stop at this village on our way, there are no restaurants,
the best you can buy are Mangoes selling along the way
Dear our ministry Family,

Almighty God sent me to Sudan to teach His servants.  I returned to Uganda safely after doing Inductive Bible training with 20 church pastors, praise the Lord for it. I left home Sunday night and spent 22 hours on travel changing 3 different vehicles on the way, returning back home was faster with 17 hours of travel.

Many of you fasted and prayed for this trip and God answered you. We had to shorten the seminar because food would not be enough for 2nd day. The country is very expensive now, what I spend in Uganda for 3 seminars is only enough for a day's seminar in the Sudan. The current war has made things worse.

The pastors were slow to learn but they loved the teaching so much. We moved slow and allowed them time to dissolve what they were taking in. It was encouraging for me to grade their assignments and to see that they were picking the concept. I am waiting for a time when God can send me back again to ground these leaders further, please pray.

With best wishes and prayers..........Moses Ouni

Our hearts are thrilled and blessed
by your work Moses. The pictures
tell a story of hungry people, needy people.
But they are more hungry for God's truth than earthly things.
It is an honor to be a prayer warrior
for His precious people in Sudan.
We are grateful for you, Moses,
the servant, willing to endure
hardship for the sake of the gospel.
